Does it need a solid base?
Yes, either concrete, patio or well built deck (must be level).

Delivery restrictions:
Do they go up on their side for delivery? – Yes.
Please note that driver will deliver to the kerbside only.
It is advised that there should be sufficient numbers of people available to transfer the spa
to its intended location i.e. garden or exterior.
Please see lifting section for more information.

Plumbing:
Do they need to be plumbed in – No, just fill with a hose. Will need draining and re-filling every 3 months. Drain tap under side panel.

Electricity:
Do they need an Electrician – No, just a 13amp supply. However there is only 15 ft of cable so if a longer run is needed then either replace
the cable or insert a weatherproof junction. The brochure says 110V but the UK ones are 220V.
Monthly cost approx £20 (variable due to position, outside temp, wind etc)

Chemicals:
Do you need to add Chemicals – Yes, Chlorine granules once a week, which dissolve in the water.
Cost approx £10 for 3 months (variable due to usage).
You need to test the water every week (suggest test strips).
Occasionally you might need to add other chemicals to adjust PH & alkalinity.
There is a device called an Ozonator which can be fitted to the spa which reduces the amount
of chlorine you need (common misconception is that it eliminates the need for chlorine - Not True)

Filters:
Does it have a filter - Yes the filter unscrews from the front.
The filter needs cleaning every week / month (variable on usage) and needs
replacing very 1-2 years (variable on usage).

Air in the system:
Air in the system – Yes, variable by the top side control.
Air gives turbulence and bubbles.

Is temperature variable?
Is the temperature variable – Yes, by the top side control. No more than 40degrees C. 35-38 is preferable.
40 is very hot and you will come out looking rather red.

How often do you turn it on?
How often do you turn it on – You leave it plugged in continuously.
The thermostat will regulate the temp and only turn it on when needed.
When you want to get in the Jets button will turn the jets on and override the thermostat.

Can it overheat?
Can it overheat? - No, there is a temp override feature.

Does it have a lid?
Does it have a lid? - Yes, only in grey. Solid, thermal with side straps.
Folds in the middle to allow easy removal.

Lifting
How many men would it take to lift one? – 4 but lifting is rarely required. 2 men can easily manoeuvre one using a trolley

Can you turn the jets off?
Can you turn the jets off? – Yes, just twist, but don’t turn them all off as you will cause a blockage which will damage the system.

Warranty
What is the warranty? – 1 year on the equipment i.e. pumps, controls etc and 3 year on the shell

Are they a new product?
Are these a new product? – Yes to the UK, but have been made in the USA for many years.

Is the surface hard wearing?
Is this surface hard wearing? – Yes, it is an one piece Acrylic mould which is then foam filled from underneath.
If you were to scratch it you would find the same material deep down. A repair can be made with a heat gun which will
melt the acrylic back into a smooth surface.

Winter use
Can they be used through the winter? – Yes, obviously the electric gets more expensive.

Use indoors
Can they be used indoors? – Yes, much cheaper to run.
